Default FZ40 First few months

Got my new FZ40 back in November and have been trying it out here on the east coast of Ireland. Will post some winter shots, all landscape, see can any of you give me some pointers for improvement.

This is Glendalough, an old monastic site in the Wicklow hills.

Thanks.

They are all very nice, bumblebee-

I really like the somber spirit these photos portray.

My favorite is the first one. You focus on the headstones, then your eyes take you to the hill, and finally thru the pass, and the clouds. Taking a journey in one photo! Wonderful photography!

Thanks for the comments Sarah and csa, appreciated. It has been an exceptionally cold winter here, like many places it seems. Great opportunities for taking photos combining the snow, light and landscape in my area that weren't there in previous years.

Upper lake, Glendalough.

Thanks Geofftay2, the mid winter light is wonderful for this landscape.
