your picture is really amazing
i was trying to shot the moon with my FZ100 and all i get is blurry images
what were you doing to make such a nice photo?

Thanks punk119. I think the reason I lucked out on this one was because I was experimenting with different shutter speeds. Once I started increasing the shutter speed it cut down on the glare and helped compensate for the fact I was using a monopod, which wasn't entirely steady. I was also using digital zoom which normally doesn't give you that good of a result, but again I think luck was on my side. According to the exif data on my camera it was shot at 1/400th at f5.2. Hope that helps.

i tried using fast/slow shutter speeds from 1/2000 to 1/200 and again and again the moon looks blurred
does it matters if i use a tripod or not for these kind of fast shutter speed?
