Default Earth's first Satellite

After seeing Craigj72's moon photos I decided to take a shot at it (pun intended). I used my FZ40 with IZoom 32X plus a Panasonic Lt55 1.7x telecoverter. Unfortunately when I decided to do this the moon was too high for my tripod so I had to shoot it by hand. Hopefully I can take another picture with the moon a little lower so I can use my tripod.

That's good, you caught some fine detail on the surface...

I have been wanting to do this as well. You both have some nice shots.
At that zoom by hand, it turned out pretty good!

Fullis on the 19th this month. Unfortunatly our weather is not cooperating for me.

David, that's a nice shot. I lucked out by changing shutter speeds. The higher speeds improved the sharpness and reduced the glare. I think I was about 1/250th - 1/300th.
