Thank you DyaneG, I started using this camera in Appature mode from the start. Possibly from after reading some guides from this forum

After comming from a full auto camera I decided to jump in feet first and not use any automodes.

Haha by the way, I got a lot of nudges from the wife when her photos turned out better than mine. Yes she uses P mode and loves it.
