Default Today's outing

Just a couple of shots from today's outing. Working with a very bright but overcast sky blew out some of the exposures. Any suggestions on how to get around that without affecting the rest of the pic would be great.

Umm..ok. I just lost ALL my cool points. Saly I didn't even think about it. I'm going to sit in the corner with the dunce hat on now.

Don't worry, I once spent about 2 hours trying to capture a red maple leaf on a very cloudy day. I was finally successful when I "discovered" the different WB settings.

BTW, I think these shots look fine!

Great photos...Love the colors of that bird...U should have used a slower shutter speed to capture the water to get a blur effect...just an idea...
