jim,

These are nice photos of some very interesting birds - thanks for sharing them

My main suggestion would be to consider your composition a bit and maybe not always have the bird in the centre of the shot. Number 2 looks great centred; the others could do with some of the empty space being cropped from one side.

Very nice - I really like #2.
As Mick says composition will also add to the photos.

Love these shots Jim...beautiful birds never fail to pique my interest...keep up the good work...Sarah said it best about digital cameras, "it's like playing Piano the more you practice the better you play"...you will get better by shooting each day...so keep on keeping on...

Lovely! You are lucky to have such beautiful birds close to you. #2 is fantastic except, unfortunately, the pipe is bit ugly....

I've taken a great liberty here and played with one of your images- hope you don't mind

The bird in your 1st image in the above post is beautifully sharp & has a wonderful facial expression
Would you accept the following??
