Hi brownie six-20, I have deleted more photos than I have kept!
The members on this forum can help with DOF - that is where I have learned such a lot. Cheers Lyn

Forzahibs - I was 18" away from the subject and zoomed in (as saly suggested) and the photos are cropped. Cheers Lyn

Thanks Clint501, being summer in West Oz, the subjects are plentiful. I only wish they would stay still for a nanosecond! Cheers Lyn

Those are all fantastic shots. The point of focus seems a little off in #3, but the rest seem razor sharp. I have a Raynox 250, which I have frankly found hard to use. Your photos are suggesting to me that a LC55 might be a good alternative.

Thanks Ajka. Go for the LC55 and have fun. You certainly live in a beautiful part of the world - love Victoria....! Lyn

I was caught between the DCR-250 & LC55 & finally went for the former, partly as it was a bit cheaper. Now I know I want them both after seeing these shots. Oh dear - these Panasonic cameras are so reasonably priced for what you get, but then you start buying accessories . . . . !
