Default FZ40/FZ45 as webcam? and is possibly fisheye adapter?

Hi to all Honorable forum!

now after a highly deep analytic of what camera should I buy, i will bet for the Panasonic DMC-FZ40 (vs fz100) cuz i bet more of the CCD than CMOS (specifically in the model are those 2 cameras, also I dislike the rolling effect in video mode of cmos) but before i wish to ask 2 things than is probable i will use considerably.

1.- can I use a fisheye adapter for this camera? because in some shops mention than can be used a fisheye for this camera, but I don't know if is true =S

2.- this camera could work as a webcam? I mean, can I capture a live video from the camera to my computer? maybe using the HDMI port or A/V port... this last, what will be the maximum resolution of the A/V for capture in live video from the camera?

thanks for yours coments!

I just did a quick search on Amazon for a fisheye for FZ40, and several came up. So looks like they exist.

Don't know about using it as a webcam.....

after research a lot, i found than i can use a 52mm thread wide angle lens for the fz40/fz45, so now i wish to ask what magnification should i buy for have the biggest wide angle without loss full frame view (black areas)

at this moment, the lens than I'm interesed are this: 0.50x 0.45x 0.43x and 0.35x

but someone can recommended me one ?

here are the links:

and in case of 0.43x, what would be better? vivitar or polaroid ?

thanks

clonick - not too many people use a fisheye, so you might get a better response posting your question in the Add-on Lens section of the forum.

I think that if you take a converter for the AV cable to usb and have the image on your pc then you can use it as a webcam by showing that your screen shows i havent tried it but it should work
