Default Photographing Graphite advice

I would like some advice please on how best to photograph my graphite art work. The original bust is in Black marble with window reflections which I liked. I have tried to get the feel of the black marble.
I also work in other mediums too so might ask for advice in the future on those too.

It is for this reason that I bought a camera really and while I have gotten into photography I still need to know how best to photograph my artwork.

This was photographed indoors at F2.8 ISO 100 spot metering and +3. it is untouched except for a little cropping. Before putting it on my site i would need to make the background white but didn't for this posting.
Thanks in advance for the help.
