G'day Bonz

There are several ways to post images
One very commonly used is to put your images onto a photo hosting site [like Flickr] and then link them. On Flickr [for example] you can also show your friends too
Another is to use a general-purpose photo site like 'tinypic' to host them and again link them

For this forum, I use 'tinypic' ... it's a bit convoluted with its 'type this security code' stuff, but it works and it's free etc etc

Once the image is on the 'tinypic' site, it shows me a code like [IMG]lots of gobbldygook and numbers&stuff[IMG] which I copy into the wording of this posting. I then go to "preview post" to make sure it has worked okay before doing a final "submit reply" to the forum

Before you upload anything, you need to remember two things-
every image you upload can be seen and copied by others &
every image needs to be downsized from camera pixels size to computer screen size

I resize images [in my photo editing software] to 800pixels long before any uploading

Hope this helps
Regards, Phil

When you start a new thread, click on the paper clip icon in your dialog box. That will let you attach images, as long as it is small enough (directions will pop up). Or, you can paste from a web album. Read through this thread...
