Oh, Saly! These are lovely! I especially like the Borage Flower. Getting in there so close is so much fun, isn't it? The gradations of the blue/purple are extraordinary ... too bad most people miss out on the wonders of the tiny worlds around us!

And I also like vantage points from underneath like your third pic. Often so much more interesting view from down there ....

Thank you for sharing these ...

...k...

Thanks Katsi, LTZ and Sarah !!

Yes Katsi, I love macro photography for that reason too! Most of the time I don't realize how pretty something is until I look at the pictures on the large monitor. Flowers especially are so intricate. And thanks about #3, I try to pay just as much attention to the background, it often makes or breaks to photo. Sometimes I find a good background first, then look for a subject!

Very nice Saly as always. Love the second one. Nothing here to photograph at the moment. We have a lot of very strong wind here making it unpleasand. Looking forward to some sunshine, lol.

Default Bird of Paradise

Not shooting a p & s, but since we're doing colors, colors, colors and macro ....

Oh, and other than some cropping, these are straight out of 'the box.' Not sure about the focusing ... still learning my camera ... /0:

I know these aren't actual macros ... after looking at them again, I'm not sure they even qualify as close-ups! Had a hell of a time getting close enuff w/my short lens ... got a longer one coming soon, tho! Yeah!!!
