Default Some Canada shots

I was in Canada for a few weeks last month, and tried out my "new" camera (LOL). There was no sun while I was up there to help give some light, but here is what I ended up with.

Squirrel was taken at full zoom.

Frozen Lake Huron and beach

Entrance to our resort.

Icicles hanging from resort building.

So let me know what y'all think.

I think they look great given the weather condition! I like the resort entrance shot the best.

What was your distance from the squirrel? if it was short enough, you might have been able to use Fill Flash. All in all your photos reflect the weather conditions and look pretty good.

Nice photos, well done given the light conditions. - I take it a BB-Q on the lake shore was out of the question, brrrrrrrr looks so cold.

Sorry Sarah, I had to use full zoom to get that close of picture and the flash didn't work for better lighting. I took several with and without the flash, and that was the best of the bunch.

The pictures from their website is during summer time (and they are beautiful), and I wouldn't mind going back during that time. But never again during the winter. LOL
