...macro close-up FILTERS are they any good? They seem easy to handle, what is your opinion?a.

Are you referring to diopters? These are sometimes called conversion lens, that you screw into the end of your camera lens. They come in various strengths depending on the magnification you want. FZ cameras require an extension tube to attach one to. Then, most people use the LC55 (Panasonic) or Raynox 150 or 250. They are very easy to use, and results are great as you see many posts on the forum.
