Default New ZS7 owner and a few photos

Just purchased this camera last week and Im really excited so far with what it can do.
Using the iA mode almost exclusively because of the snow and my limited abilities
Here are a few pics I like from a walk I took yesterday.

Very nicely done.
I like the head-on train shot best.
I agree, the iA does a pretty good job on things; I'm digging my ZS6 that I just got too.

I really wish my dog (we just adopted him this fall) was a lighter color. The contrast between him and the snow usually leaves him looking like a brown and black blur in most of the images. I can increase the brightness to bring out his color but that tends to wash out the rest of the image.
Here is one that I was able to get that really shows his markings using my old Fuji..and still having to brighten the image a little.

All very nice shots! I think the shot of your beautiful dog running came out very well. Did you try shooting him in the shade to reduce contrast? I also like the loooong train which seems to go on for ever. And, of course the sleeping cat!

Fab shots, the composition on the train shots is excellent. Love the dog and puddy tat as well - bless their furry paws.
