Default Some close-ups and first use of Raynox 250

1) Pink leaf plant :- F8 1/2 sec ISO80 24x zoom (108mm)

2) Rose :- F8 1/4 sec ISO80 24x zoom (108mm)

3) Macro of rose :- F8 1/2 sec ISO80 zoom (33mm) + Raynox 250

4) Same as 3, but camera set to high sensitivity mode : F4 1/125 ISO 1600 zoom (33mm)

I'm a little disappointed with the lack of sharpness, if I try to PP them, then I see noise (like grains of sand) showing up in the petals of the rose

All shots made with tripod + timer shutter release

Hello There - those are really good and look well sharp to me. Only the last one looks a bit weak on shaprness. I've just done a post for the 250 as well, and your shots look a lot better than mine. Mine were also tripod+timer+burst.

I think these are lovely! I particularly like #1, the subtle pink against the green and dark background is very nice. I think these are very sharp, yet not harsh.

Really good shots, sharp and clear colours.
My favorite is #1.

Cheers,

Stefan
