Default Chokhi Dhani, Jaipur

A tourism development effort to help visitors (mainly foreign visitors) understand and enjoy the culture and traditions of Rajasthan. A nice place to spend a few hours enjoying yourself in the sights, sounds and colors of Rajasthan. Glad to share a few photos..

A lantern-lit arch:

Tough balancing act (look at her feet):

Music and dance:

Visitors can also join in the fun (that's my daughter):

The boy is enjoying himself:

Natural photo-frame:

If you feel hungry after all the activity, some real local flavour for the taste buds:

Beautiful baskets as lampshades to give you the 'village' feel:

Some things for the boys too:

20km outside Jaipur, this is a business venture. Cost being slightly high, crowd is limited to only those who can afford the entry fee of RS.350 per head. Still, worth a visit as you can witness the various cultural and traditional practices of Rajasthan in one place.

Hope you like this series too.

Raghu

Super, smashing, great as per usual, the latern shot is so lovely, really conveys the feeling of the place for me. Like the portrait of the lady cooking as well. Superb colours as usual.
