Default Around My Normandy Village

Just some shots of my area which were taken in Nov after some very heavy rainfall. Taken with the FZ38.

A really beautiful place! I like #3 (although it's making me dizzy!!) and #5 the church shot (a lot).

Dyane,

very nice shots of a very nice landscape.
It seems, that I have to travel to the normandy one day ;-)
How nice must it be in sunshine?

Cheers,

Stefan

Hi Saly - at least you can get to see around where I live, it is lovely. Legend has it that a group of faries lived and worked as seamstresses down by La Petite Cascade where these photos were taken. It was forbiden to watch them work. One day curiosity got the better of a local lad called Luthius and he sneaked down to the cascades to watch the faries working. However, the fairy queen saw Luthius wathching them and promptly stabbed him with her golden needle, turning him into a pillar of rock. This is the rock that you see in No. 3 and it is called The Needle or l'Aiguille. Now it is a popular rock climbing spot.

Dyane - Thank you for the tour of your village. It looks like a very nice place to live. I bet that would be a very peaceful place to grab one of those pick nick tables I see in the photos and have a picnic. Picture of the village is my favorite.
