Default FZ 40 Glendalough, Ireland

On Monday I spent a wonderful day in Glendalough, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. It was a lovely, bright day with some nice clouds. For most of the photos I used a polarizer filter, and have touched up the photos slightly on Picasa.

Excellent set of photos. I love the balance between the lake, hills and sky in #4.

Looks a beautiful place for sure! I have friends in Oz who named their house Glendalough as it is the birthplace of Jane's ancestors - I have just sent them a pointer to this forum so they could take a look at those lovely pictures for themselves. They will be thrilled.
