Default Signature spider

You saw the abdomen view in my 'webshots' thread. I wanted to take his top view and slowly, with the help of a stick, coaxed him to come out of his web and lodge on to a plant, giving me room to move around and shoot. Here are a few shots I took today, with Raynox 250 attached:

A real close up:

Hope you like these as well.

Raghu,

very nice shots of an interesting spider.
Maybe we can continue my "Arachnophobia" thread.

Cheers,

Stefan

Raghu Great shots of the spider. Your shots always have such great IQ.

Thank you, JJ and Banksy. Stephan, I saw your thread; will be glad to add this spider there shortly. What I meant was, phobia means fear, but we seem to like spiders so much that we should call the thread arachnomania!

Raghu, these are simply fantastic! The colors on his/her body are quite beautiful.

I do have serious arachnophobia, but they are fascinating to photograph!!

Raghu,

although I am a biologist and fascinated by spiders, I also have arachnophobia :lol

But you are right, If it possible, we should rename this thread ;-)

Cheers,

Stefan

I like this shots all, very good and fascinating.

Do you use a close-up lens?

@ all: What can you recommend? Raynox or Panasonic LC55?
