Default My FZ40

After a lot of raking and bugging Stef72 and mtclimber I finally got my fz40

Now the thing is that I am not very happy with the noise performance of this camera without a flash. Should I swap it with a P100 or is it gonna be worse than mine?

In addition any suggestions for low light/medium light fast shutter shots?

Go into the SCENE modes on the FZ40 and look for the High Sensitivity mode. It lets you take photos at high ISOs (3200,6400) with out alot of noise, but at a reduced resolution of 2-3MP depending on the aspect ratio you choose. High ISO/Low light is not a strong point of point and shoot cameras, some do perform better than others but they wont meet the low light standards of a camera with a larger sensor.
