A gorgeous series of shots Stefan. 2&3 are my faves, especially the gull against the background colours of No.2 Sorry to ask again, but what mode were you shooting in?? P Mode again?? Only asking as the clarity is exceptional again.

@ Dyane: you need not say sorry for asking . Yes, they are also in the P-mode shot as the AIDA images.

My favorites are also #2 and #3.

Hi Stefan,

very nice shots.
I like especially #3 it is a very funny pose and the seagull in # 4 looks really angry
The pic of the Fischkutter (fishing cutter) is also very nice, when I see it I become a little bit melancholic.

Cheers,

Stefan

Lovely clear shots Stef. I have never seen seagulls with black faces before.

They are called Black-headed Gull:

The Black-headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus) is a small gull which breeds in much of Europe and Asia, and also in coastal eastern Canada. Most of the population is migratory, wintering further south, but some birds in the milder westernmost areas of Europe are resident. Some birds will also spend the winter in northeastern North America, where it was formerly known as the Common Black-headed Gull. As is the case with many gulls, it had previously been placed in the genus Larus.

Stef - You are really getting good at bringing out detail in your shots.
