Great series of shots.

Question In shots 4,5 it looks like the same kind of tree but with different color blooms. Are they just different varieties of the same kind of tree?

Geoper,

JJ,

thanks a lot for your kind comments.

#4 and #5 are both Magnolia.
There are may species in the genus Magnolia, here is another one.

Cheers,

Stefan

Nice series of shots. The blossom shot is my fave and the background blues you have captured are gorgeous. Were you using the TCon for these pics??

Dyane,

thanks for your kind words.
All shots are without additional lenses or converters.
Which blossom shot is your favorite, #2?

Cheers,

Stefan

The first blossom shot - cherry I think. Reminds me of the series of cherry blossoms that Van Gough painted. I tried to get some similar shots, but could not get the stunning blue of the sky that I wanted like you have. Keep em coming and I am pleased you are out and about enjoying Springtime at long last.

Great series Stefen

I'm confused, when you compare your white Magnolia with mine, why do I have all that noise pattern in my shot?

I added a 100 % crop to make the noise more apparent
