Default Some Insects with LC55

Here are some shots from today.

1: Ant Beetle (Thanasimus formicarius)

2: Bee on a maple blossom (as I am not a Hymenoptera expert, I didn't know the genus of the bee)

3: Bee on a wind-flower (Anemone nemorosa) (as I am not a Hymenoptera expert, I didn't know the genus of the bee)

4: Flower-fly (Syritta pipiens) on a wind-flower (Anemone nemorosa)

Any comments are welcome.

Cheers,

Stefan

#2 is fantastic! #4 is very good, #1 and #3 are a bit soft.

Wow Stefan that number 2 is a fantastic shot. Everything about it is spot on. If you could just duplicate this with all your LC55 shots you would be pumping out really great shots. Well done!

Really nice, No.2 is spot on with the focus/DOF and the colours are wonderful - a fab shot.

Likewise, #2 is lovely and the bee shaddow in #4 is interesting.
White can be so hard to photograph, especially shiney petals.
