Beautiful, Dyane - I like the color transition from green to brown with a mix of both in the middle shot - not sure if you did it purposely, but that's the way I see it. Good going, keep it up!

Haaaaaaaa, yes plant them higher up !!! or a nicely padded posterier for sitting/falling on!!! Sorry could not resist that mate!! The fronds were between 6inches - 2ft high and I was sat on the ground in the middle of the garden. At times I'm lying down flat on my back or stomach or on my side ....... a friend did snap me in one of these positions but the photo is a bit tooooo awful to show the lenghts I go to to get some photos.

Hi Raghu and thanks for the fab comment. In the middle shot I was trying to get the curve of the frond and did not notice the brown hairs until I saw the photo on my screen. I was concentrating on green to start with and them moved to the brown bits as they sort of looked a bit like glass up close.

Wow those shots are excellent Pal, well cool and well captured ...... that is one furry frond. Looks like you and the close-up lens are getting on well now.

Really very good shots, I like #2 for the composition and details.

Maybe I have also to try such shots of fern.

Cheers,

Stefan
