Default Old Lace

FZ35 and LC55. Converted to mono for a more vintage feeling.

Nice shot, I think using B/W has kept the image simple so the eye sees the detail in the lace

Banksy,

I keep looking at this shot; the more I look the more I like. The old wooden wheel the lace the scissors (they look old) makes for a great shot.

Well done!!!!!

Thanks for your comments Square one and jjdog. Yes, they are all very old. I enjoy collecting antique sewing implements, especially French ones.

I was trying to figure out what the object was on the left. Is it a antique thimble?

Each object can hold the look.

The detail of the lace, the texture of the wooden wheel, the detailed design of the thimble and scissors ...

Escelente photo and looks great in B & W

I would just like to see the entire scissors in the photo

Banksy that is a cracking shot. I love the way you have composed it with the various elements leading the viewer through the shot, and each piece is beautifully chosen. The b&w gives a real air of nostalgia.
