Default First time portraits

So I tried some basic portraits using FZ38 and picnik for basic pp.

Comments and criticisms welcome...

I wish I had decent pp skills, like change background to a single colour etc.

Model is a volunteer colleague...

Hi,

pretty model and nice shots.
My favorits are #1 and #3, very expressive with a touch of sadness.

Cheers, also to your model,

Stefan

Look good to me. Never have been much of a portrait taker myself. I really like the mood that #1 projects.

#1 is really good, did you use a tripod for the long exposure time?

No tripod all hand held.

Thanks fo the comments. I've decided to do more portraits since my recent loss, want to remember people more.

Hi dropmyload

photos are really good, specially #1... i love B&W

Im not a good reference as a photo critical... i'm probably even more amateur than you but on #3 i dont like to see the cut arm on foreground. Should have the entire arm visible on photo or nothing at all.

But it's a good series
