Nice sharp focus.

I'm thinking the shot was taken towards the sun, and it's caused the shadow on the deers head. Pretty good control otherwise on the exposure

Thanks Square One. Correct about the sun. With wildlife you have to make the best of what you get sometimes.

It's a really good photo with great sharpness and detail on fur and leafs.

Good deep of field too.

Almost looks like the deer is posing
