Default Blackbird - experiments with PP

Hi,

this evening I did a shot from a blackbird with the TCON17, approximately 15 to 20 m in distance.

ISO400, AWB, F8.0, 1/160 at full zoom

Picture adjustment: All values 0.

I tried a little bit PP in GIMP and want to know your opinion and your advices for improving my skills.

#1 ooc, just resized.
#2 sharpened and resized
#3 sharpened, color values corrected and resized
#4 sharpened, color values corrected, denoised and resized

Cheers,

Stefan

Stefan, I think you did really well considering several odds against you. 1) hard to capture details on a black subject, 2) limited light at the end of day, 3) distance. I can only get good shots in bright daylight, under 10m away with my LT55.

Well, i think you did 2 good jobs

you did well taking the photo and you did well again on post processing.

I like the last photo, just seems that the bird is out of focus
