Default From May 4 (FZ35)

Back to Descanso Gardens yesterday, it was quite hot! FZ35 + LC55

#1 I found this a week ago and didn't know what it was, then someone on the Close-up page pointed out that it is a Katydid Nymph. Went back yesterday and found him exactly where I left him, just a bit bigger. Still a tiny thing, body about 1/4" (6mm), cute face.

#2 Danger lurks everywhere

#3 Love in the Mist (Nigella Sativa) flower, such a lovely name

#4 Old Reliable

#5 Wild Rose

Great ones Saly. I really like #3. I think it is the blend of the green and the blue that makes it special.

Very cool macros once again saly. I really like all of them, but I find the ones with creatures in them most interesting. Great shots!

How can I say "great series" in a different way each time?

1st shot of the critter is really sharp and fascinating

and a good sharp bee

Thank you everyone!

jj - the blue flower was in (very) bright sun so I tried fill-flash to get rid of the harsh shadows and ended up with tihs interesting result.

Really fantastic saly. #3 is great.

I like the garden name "Descanso" is a portuguese word, meaning "rest"
