Sorry about the other post with no photos. All these were taken handheld, using the zoom of my FZ40. I'm amazed each time I use this camera how great a job it does!

Hi Csa! Very nice series of flowers shots you have taken. Looks like spring has arrived in Montana. You must have a nice place to walk around.

Good to hear from you again, Chickadee Lady! These are really beautiful shots. So modest and pretty. Nice job.

Hi JJ; I'm very blessed to live in a rural area, with hardly anyone around. I love Spring, and the pretty little flowers that greet you on walks!

Hi Saly!

So glad to be back! The weather has been horrible, up until this week, when Spring actually is showing it's face. Even had a blizzard last week, with 6" of snow.

I'm so impressed with the FZ40, to be able to handhold the camera from a standing position, & with the zoom, get results like this!

I'm going to get a monopod with a camera shoe; as taking walks with a tripod is not an option for me.

Wow, beautiful "Big Sky"! I drove through Montana once as a kid with my family. Drove into Glacier Nat'l Park through Canada. All I can really remember is all the dead prairie dogs on the road....

Wow, nice. Have done a few backpack trips at Glacier National Park and really enjoy that area of the country. Thanks for sharing.

Saly, sorry that you have that image in your mind; but as youngsters we do remember things like that. Hope you can visit again, someday!

JJ; thanks, I only have one year around neighbor, so it's nicely secluded here, with exceptional beauty.
