These guys put on a great show and happily posed for me. Taken in Macro mode with zoom. Comments/advice welcome.

Default Optical Feathers

Took some close up of the feathers and liked the optical illusion created by the light - hope it shows up here.

Really nice focus and color on those. The head shot with the apple is my favorite.

Beautiful! I love the feathers, regardless if it didn't show what you wanted; the texture is really nice.

It's impossible to pick my favorite; but guess it would be #3.

Wonderful colors and detail! The feathers DO look terrific, very interesting patterns they form. Nice job. I would hate to get bit by that beak!
