Default Blue butterfly

Any ideas of what type of butterfly this is? Very small, but beautiful. Windy yesterday, this is the only decent shot out of 25.

Steve,

it belongs to the family (Lycaenidae).
It looks like the common blue (Polyommatus icarus).

Cheers,

Stefan

Steve, what was the problem with the other 24 shots? Have you tried with and without the added lens?

Hi Roger53, it was a windy day and the shots were either out of focus or it would fly away just as I was getting into a decent shooting position.
Hey who said this photography game was easy

Stevan is probably right about the name, but to be certain you would also need to show us the other side of the wind :P

Nice shot though, from the few blue butterflies I have seen I could photograph none because they were so active.
