Default The Eye

I have don't have a macro lens so I would LOVE the guys with Macros to give this a shot. This is what i tried some days back

Good start, but the camera can do better

See this topic from a while back (most with no macro lens):

Would this be possible with an FZ40/45? Start of a race ;-)

I'll give it a try with the raynox, but I'm kinda scared of how hard that might be with a DOF of about 1 or 2 mm ><

in the other thread that i posted some photos i didnt use any lens just the fz35 and i think they came out really good

Yes, the fz has a real close min focus distance of about 0mm (used 5 mm though). It was hard though, took me a lot of tries.

Now that I got a macro lens I can't wait to try again, although I think a self portrait like those before is impossible, I'll try though ^^

That's really impressive..... Any tips as to how I can touch something like that other than the good lighting. Any time, angle, place tips?

It can actually focus that much detail...wow.... I hope i manage something
