Gordy, I don't think the PP is overdone, and looks nice. My question is, why did you need to use the teleconverter for the shot? Were you not able to get close? You do lose some image quality by going through extra set of lenses, so if you don't have to, you should avoid using the teleconverter.

I bought and hardly ever use it, so today I took it for a ride. Saw this old barn falling apart and shot out the window of the truck. Id say the barn was 400+ yards away. Had the zoom cranked to 18!

The vegetation is blurred because of wind gusts, but I knew there would be lots of colour from the rust and whatnot. I think I made a mistake by using spot focus but Im still happy with it.

I think this turned out really good using the tele. As far as the PP I think that the colors are just slightly overdone, but everyone sees things different.

Well spotted is what I say. Love the shot and the pp that you have done. I sometimes play round with the colour saturation and it creates some cool effects - this shot is perfect that kind of pp. Keep playing around even more. And well done on using the TCon hand held. Its a versatile lens (your shot shows this) and can be used for all sorts of subjects.

If you couldn't get close to the barn, then you were absolutely correct to use the teleconverter! Very nice shot, colors and texture are really nice.
