Default Photos from this weekend

Hi all

This weekend I went with some friends for a hiking in the nature.
I've seen some fantastic landscapes and some blossoms and bugs that I've never seen before.
I didn't had the chance to take a great photo because they all started "hurry up"... "come on..."...

So, almost all photos I got were just point&shoot, some in "P" and some in "iA"

The first one is the only one I know... it's a common Water Strider. I like how sharp the photo came out.
The other photos I dont have a clue of what they are

Hope you enjoy

Rui,

Those are all excellent shots! All of the close up shots have very good detail and great color. Love #1 and #2 of windmill shots.

You should enter some of these pictures in the "Weekly Shoot out" forum. The current "challenge" is backlighting. You have a few shots here that qualify. Good job.

Really fab series of photos Rui - your shots are always so sharp .... I want to know the secret as well !!

Dont know the real names for the insects and plants, but in NZ we call the first insect a "water boatman" as when he moves over the water it looks like its rowing. The pink flower in the UK is called a Foxglove.

Thank you all for your kind and motivational words!!!

I don't have any performance kit under the hood... the V12, bi-turbo with high performance petrol is good enough

I think i just have a good camera that performs better than we can imagine... and some luck

The scenery helps alot to get a good photo too

And thanks for the heads up on the contest Tulliu, I will check it out
