Default Strange Clouds

These are not from a Pany but It was the only camera I had with me at the time. Just thought I had never really seen a defined cloud line like this before. Of course there were tornado warnings after I saw this formation.

thanks for looking

In case you were wondering, this was shot with a Olympus C-730 10 times zoom 3.2 megapixel camera.

Wow, what an amazing formation! Love the surface of the cloud in the second shot. Aren't tornadoes rare in your part of the country??

I wouldn't want to see clouds like that in my area.
Not too surprising that a tornado warning was later issued.
There's been quite a bit of violent weather in the east this Spring.
Even Massachussetts wasn't safe just a few days ago, on Wednesday when several people were killed by a tornado.

It looks like two walls colliding into one another, the lighter clouds pushing the darker clouds up. It make me dizzy following the line between them.

These photo's explain your glasses and hair.

We had clouds like that last year.. but a tornado never formed thank god. The only one that ever touched down in my city was back in 2000... it was an F1 if I remember correctly. It touched down not too far from my apartment.. I kept seeing the wall cloud go over my apartment and the tornado warnings going off but no one the basement and yes, people were home......

Saly

Yes Tornado's are rare in this area, but we do have them. This has been a bad year for weather all over. Let's hope it settles down. Everyone around here was glued to the sky. I just was glad I could get a shot. Looking back in the other direction the clouds continued that line but kind of took on different nasty shapes over the lake.

Thanks for the comments from all of you, I'm glad you enjoyed them.

Mark
