Thank you everyone for all your comments, I really do appreciate it.
Now, to answer some questions.
Tullio, the noise reduction software is a trial version of Topaz that I read about on a forum here, so far it has been quite good. It's only a thirty day trial and I am seriously considering the full version. Topaz 5, if I remember correctly.
Carol, I usually open these pics in photoshop and see what they need. Most of these had slight adjustments in brightness and contrast, and then put through the above mentioned Topaz to remove noise. Number three, the water lily flower was an exception, it is SOC, no adjustments at all.
Dyane, the water lily was taken with a little zoom, but where it was taken is in a small pond at our local 'Discovery Center'. It is a small pond built with a walkway through it so the kids can see the tadpoles and fish, so I was pretty much right on top of it.
Chris, the bird is a Yellow-crowned Night Heron. There is a pair nesting about half a mile from where this was taken. It flew into a tree when it saw me, so this was taken at full zoom. I took a lot of pics of it and this was one of only two or three that really turned out.
Thank you again for all the comments. *whew*
