Default LC55 OR Raynox

Hi LTZ,
This series of images are outstanding. Thanks for sharing.
I'm planning to buy a close up lens and your images make me rush to buy. Could you help me choose between LC55 and Raynox250 for FZ40.

Thanks and appreciate it.
Jeff

The LC55 is much easier to use Jeff...it also has a deeper DOF which makes it easier to focus and it was designed for the Panasonic Camera's...the DCR250 is great, it's just a shallow DOF and harder to focus precisely...

Yes the Canon 500d works great for most lens...get the 58mm size if you can find it and you will require a Step Up Adapter from the Panasonic LA5 (55mm) to Canon (58mm) 500D = Step Up Adapter 55mm to 58mm...

Hooray, Cole is back! Now we will see what a master of closeups can do. Just goes to show you, it's the operator, not the equipment. Fantastic!

Thank you so much, LTZ...

How different is it using the 52mm D500 straight on the FZ40, and the 58mm D500 w/LA5-55mm step up ring on the FZ40?

Jeff
