Thanks JJ; have to be cautious at all times, when living in the mountains.

Thank you! It's always a thrill to see them; rarely have I seen them up close, in velvet; like this one! He was certainly beautiful to watch.

Thanks Dyane! I just happened to see him, & luckily had my camera right there, so slowing stepped out on the deck & got several photos of him, before he left.

This will give all, an idea of the area I live in. This is from my deck. You can see why there are many species of wild animals around my yard.

Wonderful shot! Looks like he still has his winter coat! We get many of the same animals here, but being right on the border of Los Angeles and Angeles Nat'l Forrest, many of our visitors are fugitives from the busy city. We have many unfortunate run-ins between wildlife and civilization, wildlife usually being the loser. Very sad.

Beautiful pic of the deer Carol. Looks like a watercolour painting. Can't understand why people shoot these beautiful creatures.

Thanks Saly & Banksy!

Yes, he's still shedding his winter coat; his coat soon will be so sleek! I feel I'm a guest on wildlife's land, so living accordingly; enjoying their presence! Wildlife does end up the loser when they collide with humans.
