Hi carol, how are you doing?

Nice shots! Do you see a lot of deer close to your house?

Thanks JJ; doing great. Yes, deer are in my yard all the time. I have to use a spray to keep them from eating plants in my flowerbeds. I have mostly plants deer do not like; but they occasionally will take a bite, if not sprayed.

My "yard" butts up against a mountain, so wildlife of all kinds come thru here.

Man, I know what you are saying about them eating plants. I use a spray on some on my plants.

What other wildlife to you get to see?

Thanks Beli!

JJ; it's rare; but have seen antelope in here, wild turkeys; once saw a beautiful pheasant here. Elk have been in here; have seen the tracks. An occasional mountain lion; have seen one in here twice; but believe me, didn't stop to take a photo! A bear, a couple of years ago, tore a wall off my porch at 3am!! Quite a shock to open the kitchen door, & see a bear on the other side of the storm door!!!!

Carol, a mountain lion would be cool.

Both times, it was at night; when I shined my handheld floodlight around before letting my dogs out; once when I was out in the yard checking with the light, one was about 50-70' away!! I kept the spotlight on him, as I backed up to the deck, to get inside! Believe me, no picture is worth it!

It would be very rare to see one in the daytime, as they are most active at night; especially around dusk, & dawn.
