A few shots taken the other week when the sun was out. Taken using the LC55. All comments welcome.

Hello to you all, and thanks for taking the time to have a look and comment. I'm not posting too much at the mo as the weather is awful so I cant get out snapping. I'm starting to get withdrawal syptoms

Really nice shots i like the last one a lot. Did you accomplish the black background with the flash and the aperture settings or it was something black behind the flower.

Hi Geoper - behind the rose was a high hedge, so the background was really in the shade whilst the rose was backlit by the sun. This combined with the close-up shot has created a black background. No flash used - hope this helps, and thank you for your feedback.
