Default Lunar Eclipse

15/06/2011 Total Lunar Eclipse

The fascination of the red moon is great but sorry for bad and blur image quality, the light conditions when the moon appear red was very very very low, near impossible to shot :

Catalex, given the conditions I think you have done a brillant job with the 1st 2 shots - they really show the colour well. The rest of the series is wonderful, really well captured. Thanks for sharing these. It was too cloudy here to see anything.

I had a hunch that you would be out with the camera.
Nice shots of a very difficult subject.

How is the wife doing?

Good captures of the moon Catalex54, shame weather was poor for you. Here we had thick cloud cover so did not even see any trace of the moon.

Good to hear your wife is home and recovering.

@ UJEFROCNROL: I shot the moon about from 22.30 to 23.25.
