My new friend Rocky

I found this tiny jumping spider living on my patio furniture in my yard. Itty-bitty thing with the cutest face, I've named him Rocky because he kept putting up his dukes at me! Posted a couple more over in the Close-up Section. (FZ35+LC55+Raynox250)

Saly, like Square said, great work with the stack. The last one shows how it should be done.

Thanks everyone! I prefer to catch them on greenery for aesthetic reasons, but oh well. Lighting was tricky, it was under a very bright sun so I used a small mirror to reflect the sun from the side on him to try to minimize dark shadowing.

You are lucky he stood still long enough to get these shots.
I chased one around our wheelie bin for 30 minutes - every time I got focused, he would turn his butt to face me :D
