Default FZ40 Brisbane Winter Nights

Well, it's been getting down to all of 5 degrees c overnight (and 20 c in the day) here, so apparently that means Winter Festival time (including outdoor ice skating). The highest spot I could find to rest the camera was across the road (a main city street) on a fence, had to keep waiting for the traffic lights to change to get a shot:



This is the Magistrates Court building. The large, wavy stainless steel sculpture reminds me of a huge caramel dessert. This required the fz40's widest setting:



The construction of another court building, and the full moon in the centre. This was taken out of a window at work - this time from a conference room where I was able to turn out the lights. I also wrapped my jacket around the camera to avoid reflections:
