Default Night shots...

Took some night shots today. Images were not clear & sharp enough. Please advices are welcome for improvement.

nice night views ! how long were the shutter speeds on these ? did u use digital zoom/crop enlargement on 2nd image ?

Good shots ujef.

I think the first two might not have 'popped', looks like it was just 'dusk' and may be just too dark for a daytime shot and too light for a true night shot. third shot looks good to me.

I hope backyard comments on these

Nice ones here today mate
cc- I think that the 1st one is showing [can't say 'suffering from'] the atmospheric haze from the body of water in the background, and as such, it is putting the haze over everything
I would try using Levels &/or Curves to try to darken the highlights and see it the image comes better that way

@Square One & Phil: I hear you guys pointing on reasons & affects. I should play around with focus and slower exposure also.
