Default Fireworks pics

I decided to de-compress after a stressful term and go down to the lake last night for the annual fireworks. I was in the wrong spot (behind a tree) but I did manage to get some decent pics. If I go down next year I know where I will be standing. I will be going down next weekend (less crowded) to practice my night time shooting. I didn't bring my tripod because I didn't think of capturing the sunset. and it was pretty too. I did manage to get one. The fireworks were done in the fireworks setting on the Fz35. I wanted to get a pic of the boats with their lights on, but as I said I didn't have my tripod with me. I did manage to get one halfway decent photo but it's a bit noisy as it was done in IA mode.

Here's a youtube link to the finally, someone else posted it not me I had already left before hand due to bus schedules I had to make the last one that went down where I lived.

Yeah... some were hard to focus cuz of all the people and I couldn't get a clear shot of what I wanted where I was.. and since it was just me.. I didn't want to loose my spot. Lol.

Trust me I do take better daytime pics than that lol.. just was the situation where I wasn't use to all the people down there.

Yeah.. he was.. every time I tried getting a decent/interesting shot of him something/someone would catch his interest and he'd go to that person/thing lol and change what he was doing. I'm hoping next weekend yields better results when there's less people there. We can walk some of the breakwater so I might do that and see if I can get the city as the sun's going down.
