Default FZ35, my first Cicada

As a young lad I spent a lot of time in the fields and forests playing, enjoying the outdoors but until today, Ive never even seen a cicada. Today I found my first one and even managed to get a quick pic.

quite an interesting bug!

Certainly worth the wait for the cicada shot. The others are great too.

Excellent series - love the dragonfly shots, fab colour and clarity.

Nice looking shots, #1 and #4 are my favorites. You might enjoy this if you have not seen it before.

Good capture. Considering how big they are, they sure are hard to find, aren't the?
