Default Cable release for FZ38?

Does this camera take a cable release? and if so what is a good make to buy?

Sorry, but no cable release on any of the newer FZ series as far as I know

If you want to stop camera movement, then set the timer for 2 second delay, push shutter button.... 2 seconds later picture taken....... not as handy as cable release eh?

No Square one, it isn't unfortunately. I do use the timer but hoped i could get a cable release for it - oh well, now i know, lol.
