Thanks Saly, i will try again when the weather permits and follow that. The ISO was on auto and it was set on P mode too.
I do like macro though so will definitely try harder,lol.

I second what saly says

Try a few test shots of close -up flowers and check your results

Also, remember what you did eysha to take the above picture and try when there is no wind, nothing to loose!
