Default Connection Cable?

I forgot to put the card in the camera, FZ38, and recorded a couple of nice photos in the camera. Did this camera come with a camera to computer USB cable? If so i must have misplaced it. If not i guess i will have to delete them.
Any ideas folks?

Eysha,

You can copy from built-in memory to the card. Look at page 171 of the Operating Instructions for advanced features manual. If you need help I will list the instructions.

This is how you do it.

Switch the camera to playback mode not picture mode.
Press menu.
Hit down arrow to get to the Playback menu.
Hit right arrow to go into the menu options.
Hit down arrow until you highlight Copy.
Hit right arrow.
You will see two options. One to copy from built-in memory and one to copy from card to built-in memory.
Make sure the first one is highlighted and hit menu.
It will say 'Copy picture from built-in memory to card?'
Highlight yes and hit menu.
You shots will be copied.

Need help let me know.

Eysha,

Hope you post the shots.

Yes the camera came with the cable but you don't need it as long as you have a card reader.

Thanks, there was only two shots and one was too soft. I have four cards so i am ok there, lol. I just hate to misplace things. If i have one it will still be in the box, which reminds me does anyone use the hood and what is the plastic ring for?

The ring is the hood adaptor that is used when you attach the lens hood. Never have used it, it is supposed to minimize lens flare and ghosting in bright sunshine.
